Protecting Sight in Our Community
We are dedicated to preventing blindness and preserving vision across Central Pennsylvania. Through free vision screenings and engaging educational programs for all ages, we aim to make eye health a priority for everyone in our community.
How We Help Preserve Vision
We offer a variety of programs designed to detect issues early and educate the community on the importance of eye health.

Free Vision Screenings
Using the non-invasive Welch Allyn Spot™ Vision Screener, our trained staff provides quick and easy vision screenings for children (starting at six months) and adults. This handheld device allows us to detect potential eye conditions early from a comfortable distance, providing a referral for a full eye exam when needed.

Eye Health Education
We make learning about eye health fun and interactive. Our team provides engaging educational programs for schools, businesses, and community groups of all ages, featuring activities like vision simulators.

Eye Care & Glasses Assistance
For underinsured residents in our community, our monthly Vision Clinic provides free basic eye exams with a Certified Optometrist. Our Glasses Program offers financial assistance to help income-eligible individuals obtain the affordable eyeglasses they need.

Blindness Awareness Training
This immersive training is perfect for organizations and businesses. We provide your team with information and hands-on experiences to better understand vision loss and learn the best ways to assist and support individuals with low vision.
